Rodette Jones is a Community Leader in Curtis Bay, Maryland. “The Food Desert is Real” earn her the accolades in “Farmer Spotlight” in June 2016. She has a deep compassion for helping people. Spokesperson for the Black Caucus Luncheon in 2016 rolling up her sleeves to Food Justice issues. She joined United Workers with the Baltimore Incinerator Campaign. The results were a victory for Curtis Bay. MDE (Maryland Department of Environment) succumb to the citizens of Curtis Bay over a proposed incinerator. She is currently working with the United Workers on their 20/20 Campaign in Baltimore, City. This means 20 million to destruct abandon properties and 20 million for affordable housing in Baltimore City. The quest for Community Land Trust for communities has been targeted to reach this goal.
